Effective July 20, 2026
Privacy notice
Cluckingham Palace collects only the information needed to operate accounts, access controls, notifications, and requested services.
Information we store
- Username, display name, a one-way password hash, role, account status, and security history.
- Email address and mobile number only when you choose to provide them.
- Notification choices and records of consent or withdrawal.
- Security logs using a one-way representation of an IP address rather than displaying raw addresses in the application.
How we use it
We use account information to authenticate you, enforce access levels, deliver requested alerts, protect the service, and maintain an audit trail. Newsletter consent is separate from operational notifications.
Passwords
We do not store readable passwords. A strong one-way password hash is stored so the supplied password can be verified without retrieving it.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell account information. Contact details may later be processed by an email or text-delivery provider solely to deliver messages you requested. Retention periods and provider names will be added before delivery integrations are enabled.
Your choices
You may change contact and notification preferences from your profile. Account access, correction, export, or deletion requests can be submitted to an administrator. Some security and audit records may be retained where necessary to protect the service.
Children
Accounts are intended for people age 13 and older. Public flock pages may be viewed without registering.
